While the concrete block systems are often professionally engineered, the structural integrity of walls built from quarried stone or fieldstone depend largely on the abilities of the installer. Ken Plumb has over thirty years experience building stone walls. His walls hold up structurally ( we guarantee them against failure) and are beautiful as well.

Ken has developed a true artists relationship with these natural stone materials over the years and his completed projects show it. Customers are often surprised at how large a wall can be built from natural stone. Some of our walls stretch for hundreds of feet and are often eight, ten, or in some cases even as high as fifteen feet tall. Consequently, we have a lot of confidence that your wall needs are well within our capabilities.

Retaining walls can either be a very necessary element of the landscape or it may be primarily decorative- accentuating a gentle grade change or creating space for a garden. Whatever the purpose, we can build them from locally quarried natural drywall (Lannon, Fond du lac, Chilton), fieldstone, or one of the many segmented concrete block systems.
